Hello, I'm State Representative Barb Byrum
Sadly, one in 10 children is at risk from undiagnosed eye and vision problems, and only 14 percent of children from infancy to age six have had a comprehensive eye assessment.
These problems can be devastating for a child and are 100% preventable.
That's why the Michigan Optometric Association has organized the InfantSee program which gives free screenings to infants who are between the ages of 6 and 12 months old.
These screenings are completely free, regardless of a family's ability to pay.
