This is State Representative Barb Byrum and I know that a college education is essential for the good paying jobs of the future. All students should have the opportunity to further their education. That is why I am proud to offer a scholarship to students in our community.
I am offering two $500 scholarships to local high students who plan to pursue a college degree or training in a trade. All high school seniors who live in House District 67 are eligible to apply and should submit an essay of up to 750 words describing their favorite book or the book that has had the largest impact on their life.
