Hello, I'm State Representative Barb Byrum and I represent the 65th District of the Michigan House.

I'm here today to demand that the GOP-led Senate take up the House legislation to repeal the absolute immunity from accountability enjoyed by billion-dollar drug companies in Michigan.

The House passed legislation to end drug immunity on February 22, 2007 -- more than a year ago.

Thanks to Senate inaction, the victims of dangerous drugs are still waiting to have a voice in Michigan.

Well, we're tired of waiting.

We want other people who are tired of waiting to sign our online petition at www.housedems.com/endrximmunity and urge the Senate to act immediately to repeal drug immunity.

We will make our voices heard on this issue!
